Both kinds of LED sign are bright, both run from your phone, and both are built for WA weather. The difference is what they can show.
Single colour
Single colour signs, usually red, show text, numbers and simple graphics. They are the classic LED message board: opening hours, today’s notice, a welcome message, the score. They keep the cost down and are easy to read from a distance.
Full colour
Full colour signs show logos, photos and video, and make sponsor ads look the way the sponsor intended. They suit shopfronts, pylons, schools, venues and sports grounds where you want more than words. See our full colour LED screens and video walls.
Which one suits you
- Mostly words and numbers: single colour.
- Logos, photos, video or sponsors: full colour.
- A scoreboard: either. Basic, the iCatcher Scoreboard app, works with full colour and single colour boards. Advanced, Olympyx, is made for full colour screens. See our electronic and LED scoreboards.
See the difference
The pixel pitch planner switches between full colour and single colour red, so you can see your sign both ways before you decide. Our guide to pixel pitch explains how sharp each one will look.
