Outside, for the street:

Which sign suits your church
Outdoor signs
A church sign can go on the front boundary, on the building or on a pylon beside the road.
- A single colour sign shows words and numbers in red. It is the classic church message board: clear from a distance, and lower in cost.
- A full colour sign adds photos, logos and video, so your Easter or Christmas poster looks the way it was designed.
- A double-sided sign has a face for each direction of traffic, and each face can carry its own message.
A sign by the front fence takes the weather all year. Our FA2 outdoor signs are sealed to IP68, which keeps out dust and heavy rain. See outdoor LED signs and pylon signs.
Indoor screens
An indoor LED screen shows lyrics, notices and photos in the church or the hall. Our FA3 range covers wall screens and video walls, with panels only 42 mm thin that mount straight onto a wall. See indoor LED displays and full colour LED screens and video walls.
Size and pixel pitch
Pixel pitch is the gap between the lights in millimetres. A P10 sign looks smooth from about 10 metres, which suits a roadside sign, while a screen read from the pews needs a smaller pitch. Try your message on our pixel pitch planner, or send us a photo of the spot and we will suggest a size.
Changing the message
The sign changes from your phone, a tablet or the church office computer. Depending on the sign, there is a phone app, a computer program and an online editor, and we set it up and run through it with whoever will look after the sign. Plan messages ahead and schedule them by time of day, so service times show in the morning and youth group in the evening. Council approval for church signs
Check early whether your council needs to approve the sign. Many outdoor LED signs need council approval, and a church on a main road may need Main Roads WA to approve it too. Conditions can cover brightness at night and how often the message changes, which matters next to houses. Hire
Hire a sign for a fete or a big service
For a fete, an Easter weekend or a Christmas carols night, hire a sign instead. Portable signs can be carried by hand to the church gate or the hall door, and solar trailer signs stand on a verge or in a car park with no power nearby. Hire runs from half a day to a few months. In Perth we can often deliver on the same day, and we send hire signs anywhere in Australia. We set the sign up and show you how to change the message from your phone.
Buying and finance
Buying suits a sign you will use every week. Pay outright, or spread the cost with Ledge Finance in fixed monthly payments. Warranties are 1 to 5 years, depending on the product. If your committee wants to compare, we can price both hire and buy.
